IT MAY not be one of the most distinctive accents in the UK - which is why people have been left baffled when Worcester was chosen as the worst accent.
TikTok star Luke Vernon was caught out when the person he was interviewing named Worcester as the worst accent in the country.
The popular comedian is from Birmingham and often films vox pops on the high street.
He is clearly flummoxed by the reply - and cannot understand why Worcester was chosen.
The interviewee jokingly said: "Alright now I know you're from Brum but I'm not going to slate Brum, I love Brum!

"I think the worst accents in the UK are places like Worcester or something where it's a bit hybrid.
"Where it's like you're not Midlands, you're not West Country and it's going a bit weird.

"And it's like - what is your accent bruv?"
But when asked to do a Worcester accent the man immediately backs down.
"Nah, nah, can't be doing that," he said.
Then Luke laughs and said: "You can't say it's the worst if you can't even do it - get out of here" and gives him a little push so he's no longer in frame.
The video received a mixed reaction in the comments, one said: "Team Worcester for life."
But another commenter said: "As someone from Worcester, he is not wrong."
Luke Vernon,29, is a popular TikTok star with over two million followers on social media who rose to fame on the app for his entertaining and funny videos.
