The Royal Oak

The Royal Oak at Broadwas provides great quality food for reasonable prices.

There is a delicious carvery provided daily from 12 until 2pm and 5:30pm until 8pm. This includes three meats (Pork, Turkey and Beef) and a range of 12-14 different vegetables including our homemade garlic potatoes, sage and onion stuffing and cauliflower cheese. Weekday prices are £12.95 and on the weekends £12.95/£14.95.

If the carvery doesn’t take your fancy, then there is an extensive a la carte menu with lots of pub classics and steaks to choose from. At lunchtime, there is a choice of baguettes and salads. We also have a senior 2-course lunch deal for £12.95, which includes a main and a pudding (not available in December).

St Peters Garden Centre

This summer, head to Poppy’s Farm at St Peters Garden Centre for an adventure into wildlife and nature.

The amazing maize maze in Powick is 18 years old in 2023! This year Rob and Clare Colton and their family are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Flying Scotsman Train and the Royal Coronation.

Enjoy a fantastic day for all ages set in a 14 acre maize field and a sunflower patch, with the Malvern Hills as a fantastic backdrop. The Great Worcester Maze has 3 mazes to entertain a full day out both with educational train facts and a theme of adventure to find the Golden Cob! After completing the challenge of the mazes, enjoy the adjoining courtyard with games, food, and refreshments.

Rob and Clare like to offer a family friendly venue in the outdoors with a relaxed atmosphere, so if you have not been before, please do introduce yourself as they love to see fresh faces as well as regulars over the last 18 years! If you are a regular, let them know how many mazes you have been to!

The maze is open daily from 22nd July to 3rd September, and then every weekend until the end of the month. Pumpkins will be available in October.
