THE darker side of Worcester's history will be exposed in a Halloween talk in one of the city's most historic pubs with close ties to its most violent chapters.
Chilling Tales of Worcester is taking place at King Charles House pub in New Street in Worcester, a pub intimately connected to the Battle of Worcester as the building Charles II escaped through after the Royalist defeat by Cromwell's army.
Organised by the Battle of Worcester Society, the talk is described as 'a white knuckle ride through the darker side of life in the faithful city'.
The talk by Robbie Porter is due to take place on Tuesday, October 31. Guests must arrive by 6.30pm ready for the talk to begin at 6.45pm. Entry is free but there is limited seating.
The talk is described as not being suitable for children.
