WORCESTERSHIRE firefighters have been dealing with a vehicle fire on M5.

Firefighters were called to the fire on the M5 northbound between Junction 5 and Junction 4 at 12.20pm this afternoon (October 30).

After checking the cameras on the motorway the incident appears to be over, as the motorway is running normally.

Meanwhile there has been a second vehicle on fire on the motorway northbound between  J4A (M42) and J4 (Hagley, Rubery) this afternoon.

There were three miles of congestion on approach causing 20-minute delays at the worst point.

All lanes have now reopened on the M5 northbound and delays are clearing well in the area.
