A YOUNG driver was ordered by police to collect rubbish he had thrown out of a car and he chose to pick it up rather than get a ticket.
A spokesperson for the Warndon Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "Why was the young lad collecting rubbish along Woodgreen Drive?
"That's right because he was seen to throw it out the vehicle in which he was travelling.
"He was given the option of a ticket or exercise, he chose to burn off the calories from the food that was in the wrappers!"
