Plans are underway to transform an unused strip of land in Warndon into a biodiversity-enhancing space.
The proposals, which were drawn up by Worcester City Council after consultation with residents, involve the Cotswold Way public open space between Cranham Drive and Chedworth Close.
Suggested improvements include wildlife-friendly installations such as insect posts, bird and bat boxes, and the creation of woodchip pathways.

Further proposals involve a wildflower meadow and a mini orchard at the Cranham Drive end, and if approved, a children's play trail called 'play on the way'.
The land, dotted with various trees and recently enhanced by 60,000 newly planted bulbs, rejected an initial plan for an 11-bay car park in favour of potentially creating a community garden.
Cllr Robyn Norfolk, Chair of Worcester City Council’s place and economic development committee, said: "We were pleased that residents engaged with our consultation regarding this piece of land and as always, we have listened to their views.
"The bulbs and planned wildflowers will not only make the area look pretty but will also encourage pollinators and provide habitat for wildlife.
"I’m hoping that councillors will back the move to provide a 'play on the way' area – with that included, this exciting project will benefit residents of all ages."
