A new wall mural has been painted at a Bransford organic community farm.

The mural, situated at The Fold in the Teme valley, has been supplied by art studio Fancy Features, adding a touch of vibrant colour to the scenic surroundings.

The farm, revered for its seasonal organic produce, decided to commission the mural to celebrate the farmland.

Featuring bright and lively depictions of fruit, flowers and vegetables, the piece is illuminated by the sun in the centre of the mural.

The mural was hand-painted by artists Maz Leyden and Chris Mason, who operate from their studio at The Fold, located above the café.

The duo's art studio specialises in producing wall murals and art for projects all over the world.

They have served high-profile clientele like Google, Spotify, Facebook, Ikea, and The Van Gogh Immersive Experience.

Ms Leyden expressed her delight at the commission, saying, "We were so happy to be asked to paint this mural after running our studio here at The Fold for over 10 years.

"As well as having loads of fun painting the piece, it was good to contribute some art to The Fold’s community farm.

"It’s a great project and I’d recommend coming and seeing what’s growing, and the sustainable techniques being used."

Members of the Fold Community Farm receive a weekly veg box and access to special member events that include seasonal tours, communal meals, as well as volunteer farm days.

This allows people a unique opportunity to engage in the process of growing food.

Ms Leyden added: "We’ve had lots of positive comments from the public about our mural and we’re so grateful for their support.

"If you haven’t yet been to see it, please come and check it out."

Visitors who wish to view the mural are welcomed with a variety of attractions including The Fold café, the Artisan Village shop, a veg box pickup point, and serene nature trails that run all the way down to the banks of the River Teme.
