POLICE got more than they bargained for when they pulled over a driver who was going too fast in the torrential rain.
Officers from Warndon Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) spotted the driver speeding in last night's downpours (Tuesday).
But when they ran a check on the car it came back with more than they bargained for.
The driver did not have insurance and the car was seized.
A spokesperson for Warndon SNT said: "When you drive too fast for the road conditions, you can expect your car to be stopped.
"When it turns out you don't have insurance, you can expect your car to be seized and the driver reported."
