A POPULAR Indian restaurant in Worcestershire has had its planned building application approved by Wychavon District Council.

The Entouraj Indian restaurant in Cutnall Green submitted a proposal to construct a single-storey side extension and a re-roofing of the existing conservatory.

The application was received by the council last August before a decision was reached last month, granting the restaurant permission to carry out the proposed build.

Entouraj has proved to be extremely popular with local resident since it opened in 2019, taking over the building that was previously home to the old Maltstone and Stirrups pub.

The restaurant is run by entrepreneur Shah Hussain, who also runs eateries in Oxford, Leicester and Gaydon, and business associate Ameer Hussain.
