From the music of everyone's favourite Swedish band to some camp cabaret, there's lots to get up to in Worcester this weekend.

Lindyhop and classical music is also up for grabs, as the city delivers an eclectic mix of events for anyone with some spare time this weekend.

The Worcester Stomp

The Worcester Stomp is back for its monthly dance session on Saturday (Feb 24), kicking off at 8pm at Nunnery Wood High School.

The Worcester Lindy Hop crew will welcome dance enthusiasts in to get swinging to resident DJ Izzy's tunes on the dance floor.

Admission is £6, with light refreshment of tea and coffee included.

While there's no bar, attendees are welcome to bring along their favourite tipple.

Worcester News: Huntingdon Hall will host The Poseidon (Mis)Adventure and Emmanuel Bach and Jenny Stern

The Poseidon Mis(Adventure)

Huntingdon Hall will host The Poseidon Mis(Adventure) on Saturday at 7.30pm.

This camp cabaret, in homage to the iconic film 'Poseidon Adventure', involves a sea-themed queer performance.

The plot revolves around a ship battling to survive as it turns upside down.

Expect lots of fun and performances brimming with sea shanty shenanigans and drag.

Attendees are encouraged to wear New Year's Eve themed party dress or even underwater-themed costumes.

The event is strictly tailored towards those aged 16 and above.

ABBA Forever

A leading tribute act of Swedish pop giants will take to the Swan Theatre stage on Saturday.

At 7.30pm, globally recognised ABBA Forever will deliver a feel-good evening packed with the band's iconic tunes.

Recognised around the globe for their rendition of ABBA's unique sound, the six-piece delivers a memorable performance featuring vibrant choreography, visuals and musicianship.

The ELO Show

The ELO Show is not to be missed at the Swan Theatre on Sunday (February 25).

Celebrating the work of Jeff Lynne and Electric Light Orchestra, Brian Cummins will lead the show with a full band and string section.

Songs like 'Evil Woman', 'Telephone Line' and 'Mr Blue Sky' will feature in the set list, backed by a light and laser showcase as well as 3D video screens.

Emmanuel Bach and Jenny Stern

Rounding off the week is Emmanuel Bach and Jenny Stern, who will be performing on Sunday at 3pm at Huntingdon Hall.

The duo, touted for their harmony, will perform works by Mendelssohn, Ravel, Elgar, and Sibelius.

Bach and Stern have recorded three CDs together, most recently 'Lennox in Paris', an album of British and French works.
