A care home in Droitwich has been given permission to build an extension.
Brindley Manor Nursing Home in St Peter’s Walk, a Victorian building that was once a cottage hospital, wants to build a single-storey extension to create better bedrooms for its residents.
The extension will sit between two existing two-storey extensions at the back of the building and won’t have an impact on the care home’s Victorian facade.
Neither Droitwich Spa Town Council nor Wychavon district planners raised any objection with the proposal.
