A popular Worcestershire festival has announced its star-studded 2024 line-up.

The event is set for the bank holiday weekend in August (22-25) at Fish Meadow in Upton.

Featured at the top of the bill is Frankie Goes to Hollywood's own Holly Johnson, Bananarama, David Essex and Jason Donovan.

Johnson was launched to stardom with the group's debut single 'Relax', before also finding success with 'Two Tribes', 'Welcome to the Pleasuredome' and 'The Power of Love'.

Engaging the audience with forty years of musical hits, "the most successful female group of all time", Bananarama, will also appear.

A band that needs no introduction, according to Guinness World Records, the group boasts the most international charted hits by an all-female group.

Essex, a musician with a career spanning across fields such as theatre, film and television, will also perform.

With twenty-three Top Thirty singles and various acclaimed acting credits to his name, Essex is sure to bring his unique brand of nostalgia.

Donovan will bring his trademark versatile brand of performance to the festival.

Along with starring as Scott Robinson in Neighbours, he also has multiple chart-topping singles and acclaimed albums to his name.

Known for tracks such as "Las Vegas" and "(Is This the Way to) Amarillo", Tony Christie, who has been hit-making for over forty years, will grace the Sunshine stage.

The artist reached his career peak in 1971, with the two hits sitting in the UK Singles Chart’s top twenty.

Other additions to the lineup include Altered Images, Right Said Fred, The Levellers, Beato Burrito, and The Wurzels, among others.

In addition to the music, attractions such as the Big Top Comedy Tent, Castle Kings, and Zumba will also be on offer.
