Swifties can still get their hands on tickets for a Taylor Swift-themed party which is coming to Worcester's Marr's Bar.

DJ Ed Steelefox has planned the teenager-friendly party which will bring the energy of the upcoming UK Eras Tour to the city.

The event, held on Sunday, April 7 from 4pm to 7pm, will see the Worcester DJ blending the greatest hits and cherished album tracks from Swift's vast catalogue.

Inspired by Steelefox's daughter's love for the singer, the event is open to youngsters from the age of 11 and upwards, with anyone under 16 being accompanied by an adult.

He said: "Wristbands will be issued upon entry so that people can step outside if they need to get food to keep their energy up, to catch their breath from singing so much or if they need to calm down.

"Doors are open from 3.30pm so that everyone can all get in for the prompt start at 4pm - as there are just so many songs that we have to fit into 3 hours.

"Music will be pretty loud, crowd may be densely packed on the dancefloor (much like at a gig of hers), strobing and bright lights in use also.

"Thanks in advance to everyone bringing their best vibes and singing voices. It’s looking like it’s going to be a very friendly, spirited and emotional night."

The early evening timings ensure attendees can experience the exhilaration of a nightclub while making sure they're home early enough for a good night's sleep.

Inviting fans of all ages, the event encourages attendees to exchange homemade bracelets – a tradition among committed Swifties at her concerts.

The event offers a good opportunity for those who missed out on Eras Tour tickets, or anyone wanting to get an early taste of what they can expect on the tour this summer.

Steelefox, a Worcester native, has focused on holding events in the area with an inclusive environment for people of all ages.

This has evolved through his recent partnerships with Dancefest, with whom he is currently planning future projects.

Tickets can be bought via the Marrs Bar website and Facebook pages.

The evening will strictly enforce ID checks.
