A CAR was on fire in the early hours of the morning on a residential Worcester road.
The car was on Glenthorne Avenue when it caught fire, and a firefighter extinguished the blaze.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A HWFR crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 4.13am on April 6 to a small vehicle on fire in Glenthorne Avenue, Worcester.
"One car was well alight on arrival and extinguished by one firefighter wearing breathing apparatus and using a hosereel.
"Police were also in attendance."
