The names of the candidates hoping to secure your votes in next month’s city council elections have been revealed.

On Thursday, May 2 all 35 seats on Worcester City Council will be up for grabs at the same time, for the first time.

Previously, the council elected its members one third at a time on a four-yearly cycle.

Voters may find they are now part of a different ward as a review by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England means there are now 16 wards in Worcester as opposed to 15.

And don’t forget, when it’s time to vote, you will need to take a valid form of ID with you.
