CARS in a city street have been interfered with prompting police to issue security advice.
Potential car burglars have been trying to get into cars in Gregorys Bank in Worcester.
A police spokesperson said: "We are investigating a number of reported vehicle interferences in the Gregorys Bank area and we want to reassure the community we are doing all that we can to trace those responsible."
The spokesperson suggested several ways to keep your cars safe from car burglars.
They included keeping keys somewhere safe and out of sight, locking car in a garage, fitting a high quality alarm and using additional security systems such immobilisers and visible security locks
People are advised to always take their keys with them when leaving the vehicle unattended and to make sure doors, windows, the boot and sunroof are secure whenever leaving the vehicle.
Victims of a burglary of any kind should call 999 immediately.
