A HYDRAULIC fuel leak has been contained by fire crews in Worcestershire.
A fire crew from Droitwich Fire Station and an environmental protection unit from Tenbury Wells were called to a fuel leak on Doverdale Lane, Doverdale, Droitwich on Sunday, April 14.
Absorbent mats and soil were used to contain the 20-litre hydraulic fuel leak from an agricultural vehicle at about 7pm.
The road was blocked in both directions before the incident was marked closed just before 9pm.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said there were no casualties.
A spokesperson said: "A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Droitwich Fire Station and the environmental protection unit from Tenbury Wells were called at 7.01pm on 14 April to a fuel leak in Doverdale Lane, Doverdale, Droitwich.
"Absorbent mats and soil were used to contain approximately 20 litres of hydraulic fuel leaking from an agricultural vehicle.
"Doverdale Lane was blocked in both directions.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 8.51pm."
