A gas struts manufacturer and tool retailer has opened nominations for its Local Hero Awards.
The awards by SGS Engineering recognises selfless tradespeople who stand out for their kindness and generosity.
Neil Sansom, chief executive officer at SGS Engineering, said: “We heard about so many acts of kindness by others.
“We believe that these selfless people and their acts of kindness should be celebrated, and that’s why we’re excited to launch the fourth edition of the ‘Local Hero Awards’."
One overall national winner will receive a £1,000 cash prize, while five regional winners will each receive £250.
Entries will run until April 30 and results will be revealed on May 10.
