THIEVES crashed a stolen car deep into a hedge leaving police to have to retrieve the vehicle.

The white Vauxhall Astra had been left in Comberton, near Pershore, almost on its side with its one set of wheels off the ground.

The car had been driven off the road and into a hedgerow.

Police officers from Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) managed to remove the stolen car this morning (Tuesday).

Pershore SNT said on X, formerly known as Twitter, said: "PC Keeler and PCSO Doughty off to an early start retrieving a stolen vehicle this morning in the Comberton area."
