AN obsession with a billion pound gym clothing brand has inspired a Worcester teenager to set up his own business that made £1,000 in sales within 24 hours.

William Adams, from Worcester, launched his own business specialising in streetwear clothing on his 15th birthday on May 7.

Mr Adams created his brand from scratch through a burning desire to take control of his life and have the freedom to chase his ambitions.

It has even led to his father, Tom, who is also a business owner, to admit he's learning more about business from his son than ever previously.

"It was about Christmas time that he became obsessed with Gymshark," said Mr Adams.

"He wanted to do work experience there but they wouldn't allow him to, so he did some research and one thing led to another.

"It's a UK clothing line. He's designed the branding and built the website.

"He saved up money that he spent on stock and is now generating £1,000 per day in sales."

To help launch his business, Mr Adams organised a photoshoot with people modelling his new clothing brand and supercars featuring in the background.

"He thinks outside the box," said Mr Adams.

"He's an entrepreneur in the making - he's done everything himself.

"Hopefully he'll start increasing in sales."

Mr Adams' clothing line is called Fezaris, which he created through a combination of names having wanted a word that didn't exist.

"He can control the narrative of the name and control what it means in the future.

"It doesn't mean anything but it's trademarked to him.

"I've been in businesses for a long time and I have learnt more in the last few months that ever before.

"He wants the freedom to do what he wants and see where he goes.

"He's made another 600 sales this morning - at that rate he is targeting £30,000 per month in sales alone."

Mr Adams said his son, who is a student at Tudor Grange Academy Worcester, wants to inspire others to "think outside the box" having been inspired himself by influencers in business.

"He's taking it all in his stride, he is always researching business and listens to podcasts on entrepreneurs," he said.

"He told me he wants to be in control of his life, he wants to navigate life in his own way.

"He wants to put a positive spin on it, that it's okay to be different.

"He's excited at where it's heading. He is investing money to expand the brand further.

"I never thought it would go like this, but it seems to have gained a lot of momentum so we'll see where it ends up."
