Police have launched an appeal after windows were smashed and cash was stolen from two town centre shops.

West Mercia Police said the Card Factory on Worcester Street and Nails4U on Coventry Street had been targeted by thieves overnight. 

The burglaries are believed to have happened between 6pm and 8am on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11.

The windows were smashed by the offender or offenders to gain entry and money from the tills were taken from both of the shops.
