Too many penalties, too many handling errors and too many turnovers. The Ruddock Revolution has yet to arrive it seems. Bottom of the table here we are again. Losing to Leeds this weekend is just
indicative of the poor display the Warriors continue put on for their devoted fans.
All 5 of the games this season the opposition have been gifted points from penalties, bad passing or miss directed kicks. There is only so much bad luck and poor reffing you can blame for the
results, when it comes down to it the Warriors are going to have to dig very deep again this season to survive the drop into National Division One.
There was so much hope at the beginning of the season with the advent of an new coaching regime and some terrific signings from overseas, but nothing has come of it as yet. Anthony Eddy, the
Australian coach who was sacked by Worcester for poor results, said that the Warriors players couldn't get the hang of expansive game he was trying to get them to play, was he right, and is this
group of professional rugby players not capable of changing the way they play?
John Brain lost his job too and the club are still scraping the barrel for a win. What ever the outcome this season, Mike Ruddock is going to suffer from a lack of patience from the fans as we have
been waiting for 3 seasons for something other than just scraping through.
Will the cavalry arrive in time to give the fans what they have been craving for?
