After watching Rico Gear play for The Warriors on Saturday. He has to one of if on the best players I have seen at Sixways. There have been a few, Thomas Castaignède, Geordan Murphy are two more.
The sort of player, that when they get the ball you hold your breath and wait to see what they are going to do, especially when they are playing for the opposition.
To have Rico in Gold and Blue is still quite hard to grasp to be honest, his quality is just more than I ever hoped would come to play for Worcester. Don’t get me wrong we have some quality
players here but Rico, well he’s a cut above. And we still have Sam Tuitupou to come!!!!
What really put a smile on my face on Saturday was the performance of Pat Sanderson. He is on fire at the moment, he’s the club’s top try scorer with 7 so far this season and so obviously
enjoying his rugby that it can only be a good thing for the Warriors. He seemed to have been un-shackled by some thing or someone and is rampaging round the pitch like a the world class open side
flanker he is.
The guys at work think I am totally barmy with my support of the Warriors and keep saying I should support a ‘proper’ team and why I am I so happy with a win when it wasn’t in the
league … I know they are just pulling my leg but they will eat their words and I will have the last laugh, The Warrior will prevail in the Premiership it just inevitable.
