CHILDREN at a Worcester school have tucked into a healthy breakfast.
The healthy breakfast week was organised by children in year six at the Warndon Primary and Nursery School to help promote a healthier lifestyle.
Acting headteacher Simon Tranter from the Edgeworth Close school said it was a way for them to invite children and their parents to share a breakfast together and see how simple and easy it can be.
Mr Tranter said: “Year six have been involved by completely running the three days of breakfasts, from service and preparation to promotion and they did really well.
“It showed us all the benefits of healthy eating.”
The school was supported by the Alliance in Partnership group and was also given £10 vouchers from Tesco and Sainbury’s.
