RESIDENTS of Malvern are being asked to show their support for the town’s Heart of England in Bloom entry by turning up in Priory Park on Monday morning while the judges are there.

The judges will take a three-hour tour of the town from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Monday starting at the Malvern Town Council offices and are expected to arrive at Priory Park at around 10.30am when they will be greeted by a performance of the Chase School Ensemble.

Apart from taking in the music and surroundings, judges and members of the public will be able to see entries in the Malvern In Bloom children’s art competition, which will be on display boards in the park.

Chairman of the Malvern in Bloom steering group Councillor John Jordan said he hoped as many people as possible would turn up at Priory Park while the judges were there to enjoy the concert and support the town’s Heart of England in Bloom efforts.

The judges’ tour will also include Great Malvern Station, the hospital, Madresfield Road allotments, wells dressed by Malvern Spa Association, business and retail units, Dukes Meadow playground and Victoria Park.
