FIND out more about the city you live in through a series of themed walks this summer in Worcester.

Historians from the Discover History group will be running a whole programme of walks throughout the summer to celebrate the rich history of the city.

Themes include the River Severn, Medieval Worcester, Georgian Worcester and many more.

Paul Harding, who runs Discover History said: “Walk with the medieval pilgrim, stroll with an excited tudor citizen waiting for Good Queen Bess or meander along the mighty River Severn and learn about trade.”

The walks are suitable for all ages and abilities, and are carried out in a fun and entertaining way. Your guide wears authentic clothing for the period in question and are happy to answer questions about the age too.

If you interested in a period of history or just wanting to hear tales of the past, get in touch. Booking is essential.

The walks are held every Wednesday from Wednesday, July 30 until Wednesday, September 3 at 10.30am and 2pm, costing £5 per person.

To book call Discover History on 07949 222137.
