IF wedding bells are set to be ringing in the not too distant future there is only one place to head this month – the Worcester News Wedding Fair.

Planning is under way for this autumn’s popular wedding fair, being held at the Fownes Hotel in City Walls Road, Worcester.

The venue will be packed with exhibitors from all over the county and is the ideal place to pick up the wedding dress of your dreams and find beautiful jewellery, flowers and even chocolate fountains so your whole wedding can be arranged all under one roof.

Sara Matthews, events manager for the Worcester News, said she was really looking forward to seeing all the brides-to-be at the event and added it would be as exciting as ever.

“This is your chance to come and see some of the latest bridal fashions and be able to book things you will need to make the day perfect.

“The Fownes Hotel is such a perfect venue to have a wedding fair as it is close to the centre of town and will give brides, grooms and their families the chance to come and see us when they are in Worcester and spend time talking to all our exhibitors,” she said.

As the Fownes is a fully comprehensive wedding venue itself, visitors can also get an idea of what facilities it has to offer.

More than 40 exhibitors will be at the event and models will be gliding through the crowds to show you the latest designs.

There will also be the chance to browse the stalls and pick up some great offers only available on the day.

The wedding fair is being held on Sunday, August 31 between 11am and 3.30pm and admission is free, as is the parking.

Visitors are advised to take cash and cheque books because credit card facilities will not be available on the day.
