Man dies in car smash
4:37pm Thursday 7th August 2008
A MAN has died in a car accident in Herefordshire.
The incident happened on the B4230 between Norton Cannon and Weobley shortly after 10am today.
An ambulance, rapid response vehicle, the county air ambulance from Strensham and a BASICS Emergency Doctor were sent to the scene.
The fire service and police were also in attendance.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a single car that had left the road and was in a hedge.
"Crews began CPR on a man - the driver of the vehicle.
"Unfortunately despite the best efforts of ambulance crews the man was confirmed dead at the scene.”
