ALMOST 100 cyclists have left Worcester on the fourth stage of the Tour of Britain.
The race was started by the Mayor of Worcester, councillor Lucy Hodgson, in Croft Road car park, near Worcester racecourse.
Hundreds of people turned out to cheer on the cyclists, some of whom were Olympic gold medalists.
"The sun has come out on Worcester at last," said Coun Hodgson.
"I know there's a lot of people here who really enjoy cycling. We are really looking forward to today's event."
The count down to the race was done by editor of your Worcester News Kevin Ward.
The cyclists did a lap of Worcester city centre before heading north along Hylton Road, on their way to Stoke-on-Trent.
