MUMS, dads and carers with young babies are being urged to take advantage of a toddler group run by a charity.
Tots & Toddlers, run by The Vale of Evesham National Childbirth Trust (NCT), recently moved premises from Wallace House, Evesham to Badsey Village Hall and has now opened its doors to people with young babies under one-year-old.
“The group moved premises because it wanted to open its doors to larger numbers of mothers, fathers and children as well as expanding on its already well-established range of play equipment and providing a larger safer space for the children to play in,” said Liz Wood, press officer for the NCT Evesham Branch.
“We decided to welcome babies after a large number of enquiries from people with young babies who haven’t got walking children.
"As a group we realise there are a lot of mums out there who need support with new babies and we are here to offer them help.”
The group, for babies and children between newborn and four years, runs every Monday including school holidays from 11am to 2pm at Badsey Village Hall, Horsebridge Avenue, Badsey, except bank holidays. It costs £2.50 per family, which includes drinks, light refreshments play for children and organised fun activities.
Mothers with babies under one years old and pregnant women can also attend a further NCT group called Bumps and Babies every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at Red Cross Centre, Briar Close, Evesham, from 10am to noon.
