PHOTOGRAPHER, flowers, favours, table decorations, dress – planning a wedding is a complicated business.
Fortunately, the Worcester News Three Counties Bridal Show turns a potentially stressful period into a simple, fun experience for everyone involved.
Now in its third year, the impressive event will be held on Sunday, October 26, at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern.
With more than 100 companies from the surrounding counties exhibiting, bride and bridegrooms-to-be can find everything from photography packages and reception venues to invitations, favours and flowers.
There is even a chance to have your hair and make-up done, courtesy of Worcestershire-based Air Hairdressing (airhairdressing.co.uk).
Owner Lheesa Sarris believes the Worcester News show is the best outside Birmingham and essential for couples planning their big day.
She said: “While it’s very professional, it’s comfortable and relaxed. I think it’s invaluable really and it’s getting better every year.”
At the show, Air Hairdressing, based in Church Street, Malvern, will offer 15-minute consultations featuring specialist hair advice, pampering treatments, wedding make-up and nails, all to ensure the bridal look is individual and tailored to suit the big day.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to show what we can do, but it’s great for brides too,” said Mrs Sarris.
“A wedding is a once-in-a lifetime experience and it’s vital you feel comfortable with the person who is dressing you. Once you’ve had your hair and make-up done, you can go around the rest of the exhibitions, try on dresses and better picture the big day.”
The Worcester News Three Counties Bridal Show will take place in the showground’s Severn Hall – accessible through the yellow gate – from 11am to 3.30pm. Entry and parking is free.
