A PENSIONER who collapsed and died in hospital where she had been recovering after being knocked over by a car, died from natural causes. Police confirmed the cause of her death following a post-mortem examination on Wednesday.
The woman, who is not being named by police but was in her 80s and from Stourport, suffered head injuries and a broken shoulder when she was in collision with a car on Bewdley Hill, Kidderminster, on Wednesday, August 20.
She was initially taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital and later transferred to Kidderminster General where she later died.
There are no plans for an inquest although police are still investigating the circumstances of the road collision.
