EIGHT-year-old twins William and Thomas Hodgetts are going animal crazy for charity.
The boys are inviting people to a fund-raising event on Wednesday, October 29, at Broadheath Memorial Hall, Lower Broadheath, near Worcester, when Animal Antics will have a number of furry, slimey and feathered friends on hand for children to meet.
It is the first time William and Thomas, both pupils at King’s St Albans in Worcester, have organised a charity event, said their mum Rachel Hodgetts, of Rectory Close, Lower Broadheath.
She said: “William and Thomas are like chalk and cheese, but they both love animals. One is a member of the PDSA and the other is a member of the RSPB.
“They decided they wanted to raise some money for the two charities and with a little help from me, they have organised this fun morning.”
The charity event takes place from 10am until noon, when visitors can meet snakes, owls and a range of creepy-crawlies.
There will also be arts and crafts activities, competitions and games.
