BALLET infused with old world charm will delight audiences of all ages at Pershore’s Number 8.

Vienna Festival Ballet have returned to the community arts venue for Christmas to perform the magical Coppelia on Thursday, December 18, and Friday, December 19, followed by family favourite The Nutcracker on Saturday, December 20.

Coppelia, with music by Leo Delibes, tells of the ambitious toymaker Dr Coppelius who makes a beautiful mechanical doll which amazes local villagers who begin to believe she is real.

The Nutcracker, brought to life through Tchaikovsky’s famous score, follows the adventures of a Prince and a little girl called Clara who meet the Mouse King and the Sugar Plum Fairy in a Kingdom made entirely of sweets.
