CHRIS Helme, former frontman of 90s band the Seahorses, is performing solo in Worcester this weekend.
Helme was catapulted to stardom when the Seahorses’s debut album Do It Yourself reached number one in the UK chart.
After three years of intensive touring, playing major festivals and supporting rock legends such as the Rolling Stones, U2, Oasis and Beck, the band spilt.
Almost a decade on, Helme is performing solo and his heartfelt voice is winning him an army of new fans.
He will play at the Marr’s Bar in Worcester on Sunday.
Tickets are £6 in advance and £8 on the door.
