HOT school dinners have been launched at a Worcestershire primary and nursery school.
Children at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary and Nursery School on Chedworth Drive, Worcester, were excited to have hot meals.
Louisa Snape, nursery and reception teacher, said there was a buzz around the school when the hot dinners were launched earlier this month.
She said: “Our meals cater for all dietary needs and incorporate a good helping of fruit and vegetables as well as proteins and carbohydrates to ensure that our children our getting the vitamins and energy required to help towards a healthy lifestyle.
“We are also finding that the hot meals are great at filling the children up and giving them the energy to concentrate more and work even harder through the afternoons.
Nobody is leaving our dinner hall hungry with such tasty meals on offer.”
