CHILDREN at a Worcester primary school will be speaking up for the city in a new competition.
Year five and six pupils from Gorse Hill Community Primary in Tolladine are taking part in a new Junior Youth Speaks competition organised by the Rotary Club of Worcester.
The 10 and 12-year-old children will speak about “What I Like Best about Living in Worcester”.
The contest takes place at 2.30pm on Thursday and prizes have been donated by Waterstones Bookshop.
Rotary Club organiser Sheila Sonley said: “I know children enjoy taking part and this contest encourages them to express their thoughts and helps build up their confidence.”
