A INDIAN-inspired night was held at a curry house in the city to help Miss Worcester raise money for charity.
Leanne Groutage organised the fund-raiser at Pasha in St John’s in aid of the National Autistic Society.
There was a buffet, raffle, games and dancing at the evening event on Tuesday, July 7.
It formed a part of Miss Groutage’s charitable work as a result of her affiliation with Miss England.
The 17-year-old of Holt Heath said: “There were about 60 people there and it was really good fun.” Miss Groutage will be taking part in Miss England on Monday, July 20, at the London Hilton Metropole – but she needs your help between now and then in the grand public vote.
To guarantee her a place in the final 15, text Leanne Groutage to 81118 (with capitals L and G). Alternatively, call 0901 2937900 and key in Leanne’s unique two-digit number, which is 35.
Each vote costs £1, which includes a 15p donation to three charities – B-EAT, National Autistic Society and the Variety Club.
