A MAN was airlifted to hospital after falling from his horse on a disused railway track.
The man, in his 60s, was found unconscious on the old track in Prescott, Cleobury Mortimer, at around 2.50pm today.
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and the Midlands Air Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said "On arrival at the scene, crews found a man who is believed to have fallen from a horse.
"The horse is also believed to have rolled on top of the man.
"The man was reported to have been unconscious for a short time before ambulance crews arrived.
"He was treated at the scene for a minor head and hand injury."
He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
