WORCESTERSHIRE drug workers who have helped turn people’s lives around could be in the running for national awards.
The Tackling Drugs, Changing Lives Awards aim to recognise, reward and celebrate the work being done by drug teams around the country.
Nominations are now being accepted, and organisers are looking for Worcestershire people who have made an outstanding contribution to tackling drugs.
There are six award categories this year - Youth Worker, Working with Offenders, Community Engagement, National Tackling Drugs Week, Drug Worker of the Year, and Drug Team of the Year.
Two overall winners will each receive £10,000 for their organisation to spend on developing their work.
