VISITORS have voted this painting into the number one position of Worcester’s favourite pictures.
The painting titled Chadding on Mounts Bay by Alexander Stanhope Forbes received 23 per cent of all votes cast by visitors to Worcester City Art Gallery this week.
Collections manager Philipa Tinsley said: “Art lovers left some great comments about the painting making it their clear favourite.
“Visitors to the exhibition can keep on voting to say if they agree and the countdown will change every week.
“Families can also enjoy interactive activities in the exhibition which bring the pictures to life.”
The Top 40 countdown runs until Saturday, September 5. The gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am until 4.30pm and entry is free.
