Pair have a mini adventure for charity

TWO friends have driven 611 miles in a mini to raise money and awareness in memory of a former Malvern schoolgirl.

Richard Brown and Jez Clarke, both aged 28, drove from Malvern to Land’s End at the weekend but set themselves tough rules.

The duo were not allowed to spend any money, drive on a motorway or drive back the way they had come.

They made it there and back in just under 50 hours and raised £500 for sports charity the Joanna Brown Trust which was set up a year ago after 30-year-old Miss Brown fell to her death trekking in Siberia. Miss Brown’s brother Richard said: “The support and the interest along the way was the best part.”
