BANDS will play live in pubs around Worcester to raise awareness of poverty.
The city's first official Oxjam event, in aid of Oxfam, will take place on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25.
Local acts will play live in the Firefly and the Pig and Drum in Lowesmoor, Keystones in Copenhagen Street, and the Crown and Anchor on Hylton Road.
Organiser Keli Webb said: “We'll be going on a bit of a pub crawl.
“I get quite a lot of stuff from Oxfam and I had heard about Oxjam, but don't think there has ever been anything in Worcester, so I thought I could start something.
“I asked a few friends who are in bands and everyone was really keen.”
The music will range in genre from rock and metal to acoustic and indie. Artists already booked to perform include Worcester-based band Zebedy Rays.
Entry to gigs is free, but any donations will go to Oxfam to help solve poverty around the world.
