COOKERY fans will soon be able to get their hands on a new cook book, thanks to volunteers from a Worcester charity shop.

Called The Cook Book, the Daisy Chain Benevolent Trust has put together all its best recipes to sell it in aid of two worthy causes.

To celebrate the release of the book, Worcester’s Luke Narraway, Gloucester and England rugby player, will be at the St John’s bookshop on Monday from 2pm.

Money raised from the sale of the book, costing £3.99, will be donated to the Midlands Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Shop manager Lesley Ponsford said it was a very exciting project. “Our volunteers and I have spent the past few months raising the money to have a recipe book printed to sell to raise funds for our two charities.”

The book will be available to buy at the launch, at £3.99, and we think it will make a great Christmas present.”
