BUDDING athletes at Dyson Perrins will soon be able to take advantage of the school’ s new performance improvement centre.

The Malvern school was designated a sports college in autumn 2008, allowing it access to government cash to improve its facilities.

The new centre is part of the school’s state-of-the-art sport and fitness centre, which has proved a hit not only with staff and pupils, but with the wider community, since it is also available for public use.

The performance improvement centre includes the latest equipment for analysing athletes’ performances, from blood pressure monitors and other physiological tests, to still and video camera equipment.
