English National Ballet return to Bristol Hippodrome soon with the epitome of classical Romantic ballet - Giselle. Experience the mystery and majesty of this hauntingly beautiful full-scale ballet; a stunning combination of dance, design and music. Giselle is deceived by the man she loves, and dies of a broken heart. In the second act, she selflessly returns from the grave to save his life when it is threatened by the ghosts of vengeful brides.

Prior to each performance of Giselle, Wayne Eagling's new choreography, Men Y Men will be performed which provides an opportunity for the Company's male dancers to shine in an evening which would otherwise be all about the girls. It is an athletic and acrobatic piece to music from Rackmaninoff where the rules of ballet are tested with men partnering men in daring and challenging movements.
