TWO hundred people celebrated a piece of Worcester history.
Members of the Art Fund, the Friends of Worcester Porcelain Museum and NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts) met to mark the preservation of Royal Worcester’s priceless pattern books.
The books feature hundreds of original Royal Worcester Porcelain designs and were saved by the Art Fund and then donated to the museum in Severn Street.
The event was organised by the Art Fund’s area chairman Caroline Hornyold. Special guests included Gri Harrison, national chairman of NADFAS; Timothy Stevens, trustee of the Art Fund, and antiques expert Henry Sandon, who is president of the City of Worcester Decorative and Fine Arts Association.
