JOBSEEKERS in Worcester have cashed in on 45 new jobs at TK Maxx.
TK Maxx, which opened its new store in July on the old Woolworths site in the High Street, has signed up to a local employment partnership with Jobcentre Plus, which meant it offered vacancies to jobseekers within the local community. Jobcentre Plus worked closely with TK Maxx on the recruitment process. Rishil Shasikant, manager for the new store, said: “The support we received from the team at Worcester Jobcentre Plus has been great.”
Mike Dzioba, account manager for Jobcentre Plus, said: “We were glad to work with TK Maxx to help them fill their vacancies as it gave us a great opportunity to offer our customers the chance to get back into work.”
