A GROUP of Worcestershire businesses have come together to launch a new website aimed at helping small businesses in the county develop and grow.
The internet portal of Worcester and Droitwich Small Business Support Group (worcesterbusinesssupport.info or droitwichbusinesssupport.info) aims to be a source of information for small businesses, and those interested in setting up their own businesses can gain answers to a variety of questions they may have in the crucial early stages.
Representatives from a variety of different fields have come forward to act as advisers including accountancy, business management and coaching, internet security, human resources, sales, PR/marketing, ecommerce, graphic/web design and other general support services.
The group will be holding a monthly business breakfast at the Old Rectifying House, Worcester, in the new year.
Unlike other business breakfasts it aims to be a drop- in monthly event, meaning that delegates do not have to sign up to monthly fees for membership and can “pay as they go”.
The cost of each business breakfast is £10.
Lisa Ventura, who is one of the group organisers, said: “We wanted to create a community of like-minded business people who would be committed to helping support other businesses, especially during this current recession, to be on hand to answer any questions or queries they have and offer valuable support online and face to face.”
The group has the full support and endorsement of Business Link West Midlands.
