AWARD-winning Martyn Joseph, dubbed ‘The Welsh Springsteen’, is heading for Worcester as part of his autumn UK tour.
The acclaimed singer-songwriter from Cardiff will return to the Huntingdon Hall stage on Tuesday, November 24.
In demand on both sides of the Atlantic for over two decades, Joseph has toured both solo and with the likes of Art Garfunkel and Jools Holland. He was voted Best Male Artist in the BBC’s Welsh Music Awards and his music is described as a melting pot of musical flavours from rock and blues to Americana and funk.
His latest album, Evolved, was praised by critics for being “courageously sparse, stripped down”. Testement to the connection Joseph has for Worcester is the fact that one track, Love The Light in You, was recorded live at Huntingdon Hall.
